St. Joseph’s Church at the heart of the town is known for its vast space and the famous architecture which is evident from the glass works and special artistic work all over the church. The church was built between 1866 and 1872. It is the head quarters of Dindigul diocese of Roman Catholic Churches in Dindigul.
